 The Ti-VCT technology in the new Ford Focus engine provides precise control over the timing for the one-way intake and exhaust valves, allowing for continual optimisation of camshaft event timings to maximise torque and fuel economy.

• 6-Speed Powershift Transmission 

The all-new Ford 6-speed Dual-Clutch Powershift is the next generation of automatic transmissions. It cleverly selects the next appropriate gear at exactly the right moment, delivering lightning-fast gear changes with no disruption to the flow of power, leading to smooth superior performance and exceptional economy. (Manual mode can be selected with the flick of a switch.)

Fantastic handling around corners is now a given with the Torque Vectoring Control which improves traction, roadholding and agility and continuously monitors and adjusts the engine torque distributed to each front wheel as you drive.
