Focus RS

BUILT BY ENTHUSIASTS FOR ENTHUSIASTS

With 40 years' history on its shoulders, any car bearing the RS badge has to be able to deliver a superb performance - the Focus RS doesn't disappoint. The World Rally Championship was formed in 1973 and shortly afterwards; Ford introduced the Rallye Sport (RS) badge. It celebrates Ford's legendary performance production cars that started with the RS1600 and evolved into what it is today - Focus RS.

Being the most powerful front wheel drive car in production, beneath its athletic exterior lies a formidable power unit and advanced racing technology, which also means, it can accelerate from 0-100km/h in only 5.9 seconds. Together with its powerful performance, the Focus RS also boasts an eye-catching and contemporary look.

TURBOCHARGED ENGINE

Only one engine will do justice to the new Focus RS - the Duratec 2.5-litre, 305PS five-cylinder, 20-valve turbocharged engine. With this incredible power unit, you can expect a top speed of 250kph. Redesigned and rebuilt, this five-cylinder power unit delivers amazing performance with a maximum torque of 440Nm from 2250-4500rpm, living up to the expections of the RS badge.

The interior of the Focus RS is designed to look and feel as much like a cockpit as possible, with meticulous attention to detail such as the flow-through centre console and dials trimmed in RS blue. But this is a car that has more than just stylish design; it's also packed with great technological features.
